Why work with us
How we organise work for teams in different parts of the world.
The delivery model stays constant. What changes is the rhythm: live collaboration where the working days overlap, and a hand-over where they do not.
Agree the rhythm, not the clock
We settle review calls, hand-over times and a shared calendar at the start, in your local time.
Follow the sun where it helps
Where the gap is large, work briefed at the end of your day progresses while your team sleeps.
One point of contact
A single engineering lead is your voice into the team, whichever region you are in.
Your standards, tools and templates
ASME, ISO, DIN, JIS, AS and CSA conventions, in metric or imperial, in the formats your team already uses.
Choose your region
Find the page closest to your working day.
Each regional page covers the time difference, the conventions that matter locally, and what to settle before work starts.
Americas
United States and Canada: an overnight hand-over that adds a shift to your day.
Europe
Europe and the UK: four to seven hours of live overlap with your team.
Middle East and Africa
Gulf, East, South and West Africa: a shared working day for project teams.
Asia-Pacific
Southeast and East Asia and Australia: live afternoons with a quick turnaround.
Time zones
Time zones around the world.
Most regions share part of the working day with India. Where the difference is large, a daily hand-over turns it into an advantage: work briefed at the end of your day is progressed while your team is offline.
| Your country or region | Overlap with an India working day | How the day works |
|---|---|---|
| United Kingdom and Ireland | About 4 to 5 hours | Morning stand-ups and drawing reviews, wrapping up around your lunch break. |
| Germany, France, Italy and the Nordics | About 5 to 6 hours | A long shared morning, with design walk-throughs running into the early afternoon. |
| Poland, Romania, Greece and Türkiye | About 6 to 7 hours | Nearly a full common day, so a question raised at ten is usually answered by noon. |
| United Arab Emirates and Oman | About 8 hours | Effectively one office day, with calls possible at any point in your working hours. |
| Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain | About 7 hours | Shared hours from your first coffee to mid-afternoon, with your weekend built into the calendar. |
| Kenya, Ethiopia and Tanzania | About 7 hours | A generous common window, well suited to site teams that need drawings clarified quickly. |
| South Africa | About 6 hours | Your mornings belong to joint reviews; your afternoons stay free for site and shop-floor work. |
| Nigeria and Ghana | About 4 to 5 hours | One compact window each morning for decisions, with our engineers carrying on a little after. |
| Singapore, Malaysia, China, Hong Kong and the Philippines | About 5 hours | Collaboration centred on your afternoon, finishing just as your working day closes. |
| Thailand, Vietnam and Jakarta | About 6 hours | The widest window in Southeast Asia, opening in your late morning and lasting well into the afternoon. |
| Japan and South Korea | About 4 hours | A focused afternoon slot. Brief us in your morning and we begin as your afternoon starts. |
| Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane | About 2 to 3 hours | A short live review in your afternoon, after which the work carries on once you have gone home. |
| Perth | About 5 hours | The longest overlap in Australia, close to an ordinary shared working day. |
| New Zealand | Up to 1 hour in winter | No real overlap, so work briefed at your close of business is waiting when you return. |
| US East Coast | Early calls only | A call before your first meeting, then results ready on your desk the next day. |
| US Central and Mountain states | Early calls only | A brief check-in as your day opens, and an overnight turnaround behind it. |
| US West Coast and western Canada | None | Our day ends as yours begins, so what you brief in the evening is back by breakfast. |
| Eastern Canada | Early calls only | The same early-call pattern as New York, with metric and imperial units kept apart. |
| Mexico and Central America | Early calls only | A short opening call, then a full working day on our side while you sleep. |
| Brazil, Argentina and Chile | About 1 hour | A brief morning window for questions, with the remainder of our day devoted to your package. |
| Colombia, Peru and Ecuador | None | A written brief at your day's end, and drawings for review waiting at your next start. |
Illustrative, assuming a 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. working day in India and a 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. day in your region. Daylight saving changes the figures by about one hour, and hours can be adjusted by agreement.
Before you start
What to settle before work starts.
- Confidentiality and IP. Put the non-disclosure agreement and intellectual property terms in place first. Every Profesyst employee signs a non-disclosure agreement.
- Standards and units. Tell us your drawing standard, units and templates, and we will work to them.
- Controlled data. If your data is subject to export or controlled-goods restrictions, confirm with your compliance team what may be shared offshore before anything is sent.
- Working calendar. Weekends and public holidays differ from country to country. Agree a shared calendar and review times at the start.
- Regulatory responsibility. Certification, approvals and professional sign-off remain with you or your registered professionals. We support the engineering work that feeds them.
- A pilot first. A small, well-defined work package lets you judge quality and communication before a larger commitment.
Services that suit remote delivery.
How an engagement starts.
Share a brief
Send the scope, inputs and standards. We sign an NDA first if you ask.
Agree a pilot
We define a small work package with clear deliverables and review points.
Deliver and review
We deliver, you review, and we feed corrections into the next package.
Scale
Add engineers or work packages as confidence grows.
Frequently asked questions
We are in a region you do not list. Can you still help?
Yes. The regional pages are examples of how the working day lines up, not a limit. Tell us your location and working hours, and we will propose a rhythm and a pilot package.
Which countries do you work with?
We support manufacturers and plant operators in North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific and Australia, as well as clients within India. If remote engineering delivery is practical for your project, we can usually find an arrangement that works.
Do you have offices outside India?
No. Profesyst delivers from its engineering centres in Bengaluru and Pune, India. Onsite support at your facility can be discussed for projects that need it.
How do you handle large time differences?
Through a short scheduled review call and a daily hand-over. You brief the work at the end of your day and it is progressed while your team is offline, so progress is waiting each morning.
How is our intellectual property protected?
Your designs and data remain yours. Every Profesyst employee signs a non-disclosure agreement, and we agree intellectual property and confidentiality terms in writing before work starts. Our engineering centres run on controlled infrastructure with physical and data security, network security on every workstation, regular information security audits and remote backup of sensitive data.
How do we get started?
Send us a short brief, or a sample work package, through the contact form. We confirm scope, inputs, deliverables and review points with you, and a small pilot package is a common way to begin, before committing to a larger programme.
