Engineering outsourcing: The Gulf (GCC)
Same working day. Fewer bottlenecks in the bid and the build.
Contractors, consultants and plant owners across the Gulf can brief our team in the morning and review the work the same afternoon.

Why work with us
Why Gulf project teams add an engineering partner in India.
Gulf projects create sharp peaks of drawing and document work, often against fixed bid and issue dates. A partner in a nearby time zone helps contractors absorb them.
Capacity for bids and peaks
Add engineers for the duration of a bid or project, then release them at hand-over.
Plant and electrical depth
Piping, layout, stress, switchgear, panel and automation engineering from a team used to industrial projects.
A shared working day
India is one and a half to two and a half hours ahead of the Gulf, so most of your day overlaps with ours.
Documents to client specifications
We follow the client's specification and drawing standard, and agree the deliverable list at the start.
Where we fit into projects
From bid support to as-built documentation.
We support contractors, consultants, fabricators and plant owners at different stages of a project.
Bid engineering
Layouts, equipment lists, preliminary drawings and material take-offs to meet a bid deadline.
Piping and plant detailing
3D piping, isometrics, supports and stress analysis to the project specification.
Electrical and instrumentation documents
Single-line diagrams, schematics, cable schedules, I/O lists and panel layouts.
As-built documentation
Updating drawings and models to the built condition, ready for handover to the owner.
Time zones
Working-day overlap with India.
The UAE and Oman are 1.5 hours behind India. Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain are 2.5 hours behind. The Gulf does not change its clocks.
| Your location | Overlap with an India working day | How it is used |
|---|---|---|
| UAE and Oman | About 8 hours | Nearly the full day, suited to close collaboration and same-day reviews. |
| Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain | About 7 to 8 hours | A long shared day, with hand-over at the end of yours. |
| Ramadan working hours | Shorter days | We agree review times around reduced hours and plan the hand-over to match. |
Illustrative, assuming a 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. working day in India and an 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. day in the Gulf. Weekends differ by country, so we agree a shared calendar at the start.
Before you start
What to settle before work starts.
- Confidentiality and IP. Put the non-disclosure agreement and intellectual property terms in place first. Every Profesyst employee signs a non-disclosure agreement.
- Client specifications. Share the project specification, piping classes, codes and drawing standard, for example ASME, API or IEC, as your client requires.
- Responsibility. Design approval and statutory sign-off remain with your responsible engineers. We prepare the engineering data.
- Calendar. Agree weekends, public holidays and Ramadan working hours in advance.
- Vendor registration. If you require vendors to register or complete a questionnaire, share it. You can start from the contact form by choosing the partnership option.
- A pilot first. A small package, such as one system or one drawing set, shows quality and turnaround.

We deliver, you review, and we feed corrections into the next package.
Scale
Add engineers or work packages as the project grows.
Frequently asked questions
Can you work around different weekends in the Gulf?
Yes. Weekends differ between countries, so we agree a shared calendar at the start covering weekends, public holidays and Ramadan working hours, and plan review and hand-over times around it.
Does Profesyst have an office in the Gulf?
No. Profesyst delivers from its engineering centres in Bengaluru and Pune, India. Onsite support at your facility can be discussed for projects that need it.
Can you work to our client's specifications?
Yes. We work to the specification, codes and drawing standard your project uses, and confirm them with you before starting.
Can you help with a bid at short notice?
Often, yes. Bid work such as layouts, equipment lists and preliminary drawings suits a quick team. Tell us the deadline and the scope, and we will say what is realistic.
How is our intellectual property protected?
Your designs and data remain yours. Every Profesyst employee signs a non-disclosure agreement, and we agree intellectual property and confidentiality terms in writing before work starts. Our engineering centres run on controlled infrastructure with physical and data security, network security on every workstation, regular information security audits and remote backup of sensitive data.
