CAD automation that removes repetitive design work.

Part libraries, assembly generators and drawing automation that shorten design cycles and cut rework, built around the way your team already designs.

What we deliver

Automation for design centres that repeat similar designs.

If your engineers rebuild similar parts, assemblies and drawings for each order, automation can turn that effort into a configuration step.

  • Design variable generation

Parameter-driven designs that update from a small set of inputs.

  • Part and assembly generators

Part creators and assembly generators for families of products.

  • Drawing automation

Drawings, general arrangements and sections generated from the model.

  • Special part libraries

Custom libraries for the parts your company uses repeatedly.

  • Product selection and marketing drawings

Selection tools and marketing drawings produced from the same source.

  • Custom applications and integration

Custom automation and integration of custom applications with your CAD environment.

Where it pays off

Highest value where designs repeat with variations.

Automation works best when the design logic is well understood. We start by capturing that logic, then automate it.

  • Configure-to-order products with many variants.
  • Multilevel assembly configurations.
  • General arrangement and sectional drawing generation.
  • Multi-format saving for downstream systems.
  • R&D and design centres that reuse similar designs.

Typical automation projects

  • Product configurators

Select options and generate the matching model and drawings automatically.

  • Drawing generation

General arrangement, sectional and detail drawings created from the model.

  • Part and assembly families

Parametric libraries for the parts and assemblies you repeat most.

  • Custom design applications

Purpose-built tools that connect your design rules to your CAD environment.

Frequently asked questions

Which jobs are worth automating?

Work that is repeated often, follows clear rules and takes a noticeable amount of engineering time. We review a sample of your recent designs, estimate the effort saved and tell you plainly if a job is not worth automating.

Will our engineers be able to maintain the automation?

That is a design goal. We document the logic and the tools, and we can hand over training so your team can extend what we build.

Can automation connect to our other systems?

Custom automation and integration of custom applications is part of the service. We agree the interfaces and data formats during scoping.

How is our intellectual property protected?

Your designs and data remain yours. Every Profesyst employee signs a non-disclosure agreement, and we agree intellectual property and confidentiality terms in writing before work starts. Our engineering centres run on controlled infrastructure with physical and data security, network security on every workstation, regular information security audits and remote backup of sensitive data.

How do we get started?

Send us a short brief, or a sample work package, through the contact form. We confirm scope, inputs, deliverables and review points with you, and a small pilot package is a common way to begin, before committing to a larger programme.
