CAD modelling and drafting services you can scale up at short notice.

Accurate 3D models, assemblies and manufacturing drawings, produced in your CAD system to your standards, for design teams that need dependable capacity.

What we deliver

Models, drawings and data that support clear execution downstream.

From new 3D models to the conversion of legacy drawings, we give your design team additional capacity without lowering the quality of the data it releases.

  • 3D modelling and visualisation

Parametric part and assembly models, with visualisation where it helps reviews and approvals.

  • 2D drafting and detailing

Detailed 2D drawings prepared to your drawing standard and templates.

  • Legacy conversion and CAD switching

Conversion of older drawings and models into your current CAD platform.

  • 3D surface modelling and assembly

Complex surfaces and multi-part assemblies modelled for downstream use.

  • Production drawings

Manufacturing drawings with tolerances, notes and views ready for the shop floor.

  • Parts lists, BOMs and manuals

Bills of materials, parts lists and technical manuals kept consistent with the model.

Where it fits

Good for work with clear inputs and repeatable output.

CAD work is easy to scope, review and scale. These are the situations where clients most often bring in extra capacity.

  • Peak workloads that exceed your in-house design capacity.
  • Backlogs of legacy 2D drawings that need converting to 3D models.
  • A switch from one CAD platform to another.
  • Production drawing packages for machine tools, fabrications, sheet metal and castings.
  • Updating tooling and product models to match changes made on the shop floor.

Typical work packages

  • Machine tools

Assemblies, sub-assemblies and detailed production drawings.

  • Fabrication and sheet metal

Flat patterns, weldments and fabrication drawings.

  • Castings

    Casting models and machined-part drawings.

  • Documentation

Parts lists, bills of materials and technical manuals.

Frequently asked questions

Which CAD software do you work in?

We work in the platform you use. Tell us your CAD system and version at the start and we will confirm that our team can work in it before the project begins, subject to project scope and resource availability.

Can you convert our old 2D drawings into 3D models?

Yes. Legacy conversion and CAD switching are part of our CAD practice. We agree the target platform, modelling approach and checking method with you before the batch begins.

How do you keep drawings consistent with your standard?

We work to the drawing standard, templates and naming rules you provide, and apply a checking step before each delivery. Feedback from your reviewers is carried into the next package.

How is our intellectual property protected?

Your designs and data remain yours. Every Profesyst employee signs a non-disclosure agreement, and we agree intellectual property and confidentiality terms in writing before work starts. Our engineering centres run on controlled infrastructure with physical and data security, network security on every workstation, regular information security audits and remote backup of sensitive data.

How do we get started?

Send us a short brief, or a sample work package, through the contact form. We confirm scope, inputs, deliverables and review points with you, and a small pilot package is a common way to begin, before committing to a larger programme.
