Engineering support for US manufacturers, with a working day added to yours.
Design, analysis, plant and electrical engineering delivered from Bengaluru and Pune, organised around a daily hand-over with your US team.
Why work with us
Why US engineering teams add an offshore partner.
Engineering workloads rarely arrive evenly. An offshore partner gives you a flexible layer of capacity and specialist skills that you can use when the schedule demands it.
Capacity when you need it
Scale up for peak workloads and release capacity when the programme eases, without permanent hiring.
Specialist skills
Access to CAE analysts, plant and piping engineers and electrical designers for work you do not do often.
A daily hand-over
Work briefed at the end of your day is picked up while your team is offline, so progress is waiting each morning.
Cost efficiency
Offshore execution delivers significant savings on routine, high-volume engineering work.
Time zones
How the time difference works in practice.
India is 9.5 to 13.5 hours ahead of the continental US, depending on your region and daylight saving. That gap is a feature when the work is organised around hand-overs.
| Your location | Typical review call (summer time) | What your team sees |
|---|---|---|
| US Eastern | About 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. ET | Early-morning review call, then the hand-over for the day ahead. |
| US Central | About 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. CT | Early-morning review call, then the hand-over for the day ahead. |
| US Pacific | About 6:00 to 7:00 a.m. PT | Early-morning review call; work briefed at the end of your day is complete by the next morning. |
Illustrative, assuming a 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. working day in India. Hours can be adjusted by agreement, and daylight saving changes the figures by one hour. Work briefed at 5:00 p.m. US Eastern daylight time is picked up at 9:30 a.m. India time and can be returned by 9:00 a.m. Eastern.
Before you start
What to settle before work starts.
- Confidentiality and IP. Put the non-disclosure agreement and intellectual property terms in place first. Every Profesyst employee signs a non-disclosure agreement.
- Export-controlled data. If drawings or data are subject to ITAR or EAR controls, confirm with your compliance team what may be shared offshore before anything is sent.
- Standards and units. Tell us your drawing standard, such as ASME Y14.5, your units and your templates, and we will work to them.
- Secure transfer. Agree how files are exchanged and who has access, so the process matches your IT policy.
- A pilot first. A small, well-defined work package is a low-risk way to judge quality and communication before a larger commitment.

Frequently asked questions
Does Profesyst have an office in the United States?
No. Profesyst delivers from its engineering centres in Bengaluru and Pune, India. Onsite support at your facility can be discussed for projects that need it.
How do we collaborate across such a large time difference?
Through a short, scheduled review call at the start of your day and a daily hand-over. You brief the work at the end of your day and it is progressed while your team is offline. Hours can be adjusted by agreement.
Can you work to US standards and units?
Yes. We work to the drawing standards, units and templates you specify, for example ASME conventions and inch-based drawings, and we confirm them with you before starting.
What about export-controlled technical data?
That decision sits with you and your compliance team. If your data is subject to ITAR or EAR restrictions, tell us at the start, and do not send controlled data until it has been cleared.
How is our intellectual property protected?
Your designs and data remain yours. Every Profesyst employee signs a non-disclosure agreement, and we agree intellectual property and confidentiality terms in writing before work starts. Our engineering centres run on controlled infrastructure with physical and data security, network security on every workstation, regular information security audits and remote backup of sensitive data.
