Engineering outsourcing: Asia-Pacific
Engineering that keeps pace with Asia-Pacific product cycles.
Model changes, new variants and supplier requests arrive fast. Our team works alongside yours in the afternoon and turns changes round before the next cycle.

Why work with us
Why manufacturers in the region add a flexible team.
Product cycles are short and engineering teams are lean. A flexible partner lets your own engineers stay on the work only they can do.
Same-day iteration
A request in the morning can be reviewed in the afternoon, which suits teams that change models often.
Variants without bottlenecks
Add variants, options and customer-specific drawings through a defined work package, without stretching your core team.
Mixed standards, handled
Plants and customers in the region follow different conventions. We keep them separate and consistent.
A supplier to global OEMs
If your customers send specifications and review comments in English, we work in the same language and the same tools.
What manufacturers in the region ask for
Quick turnaround on design and analysis work.
Typical requests, always scoped with you before work starts.
Variant and derivative design
New versions of existing products, with updated models, drawings and parts lists.
Design for manufacturing reviews
A second look at models and drawings for manufacturability and tolerance practice.
Simulation support
Structural, thermal and flow analysis to check a design before tooling is cut.
Customer drawing packages
Drawing sets prepared to a customer's format and review comments, ready to issue.
Time zones
Working-day overlap with India.
Southeast and East Asia are between 1.5 and 3.5 hours ahead of India, so most of your working day overlaps with ours. New Zealand is further ahead and works best with a hand-over.
| Your location | Overlap with an India working day | How it is used |
|---|---|---|
| Thailand, Vietnam and western Indonesia | About 6 hours | Live reviews from late morning through your afternoon. |
| Singapore, Malaysia, China, Hong Kong and the Philippines | About 5 hours | Live reviews through your afternoon, with our day ending shortly after yours. |
| Japan and South Korea | About 4 hours | Live reviews in your afternoon, with work briefed in the morning picked up as our day begins. |
| New Zealand | Up to 1 hour, none in summer time | A hand-over model. Work briefed at the end of your day is picked up at the start of ours. |
Illustrative, assuming a 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. working day in India and a 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. day in your location. Hours can be adjusted by agreement, and national holidays differ across the region.
Before you start
What to settle before work starts.
- Confidentiality and IP. Put the non-disclosure agreement and intellectual property terms in place first. Every Profesyst employee signs a non-disclosure agreement.
- Language. Engineering communication and documents are in English. If your drawings or specifications are in another language, share a translated or bilingual version.
- Standards and units. Tell us the drawing standard you follow, such as ISO, JIS, GB or KS conventions, and your templates, and we will work to them.
- Holidays. Lunar New Year, Golden Week and national holidays differ from India's. Agree a shared calendar and review times at the start.
- Secure transfer. Agree how files are exchanged and who has access, so the process matches your IT policy.
- A pilot first. A small, well-defined work package lets you judge quality and communication before a larger commitment.

Frequently asked questions
Can you work with drawings that include another language?
Our working language is English. If your drawings or specifications are in another language, share a translated or bilingual version, and we will agree how annotations should appear before work starts.
Does Profesyst have an office in Asia-Pacific?
No. Profesyst delivers from its engineering centres in Bengaluru and Pune, India. Onsite support at your facility can be discussed for projects that need it.
Do you work in languages other than English?
Our engineering communication is in English. If your inputs are in another language, share a translated or bilingual version so that nothing is lost, and we confirm the scope with you before starting.
How do we collaborate across time zones?
Most of the region shares four to six hours of the working day with India. We agree a regular review call inside that window, and work continues after your day ends.
How is our intellectual property protected?
Your designs and data remain yours. Every Profesyst employee signs a non-disclosure agreement, and we agree intellectual property and confidentiality terms in writing before work starts. Our engineering centres run on controlled infrastructure with physical and data security, network security on every workstation, regular information security audits and remote backup of sensitive data.
How do we get started?
Send us a short brief, or a sample work package, through the contact form. We confirm scope, inputs, deliverables and review points with you, and a small pilot package is a common way to begin, before committing to a larger programme.
